Does the Africa eSIM come with a phone number?
No. Africa eSIM plans are data only. WhatsApp stays on your usual number, and you can keep your primary SIM in your phone.
How much data do I need for 15 days in Africa?
With maps, messages and email, expect to use about 1 GB per week: the 2 GB plan for 15 days costs £14.59. With social media and video, it's more like 3 to 5 GB per week: the 10 GB plan for 15 days costs £52.79.
eSIM, local SIM or roaming: which is best for Africa?

Can I top up without switching eSIMs?

What if I can't use the eSIM?
You have up to 30 days to request a refund in eligible cases: a cancelled trip, an incompatible or locked phone, or an eSIM that doesn't connect. We review every request, and our support team will first try to fix the problem with you on WhatsApp or by email.
