Does the Europe eSIM come with a phone number?
No. Europe eSIM plans are data only. WhatsApp stays on your usual number, and you can keep your primary SIM in your phone.
How much data do I need for 15 days in Europe?
With maps, messages and email, expect to use about 1 GB per week: the 2 GB plan for 15 days costs £6.49. With social media and video, it's more like 3 to 5 GB per week: the 10 GB plan for 30 days costs £23.29. If you'd rather not track your usage, 15 days of unlimited data costs £39.29, or £43.89 for Premium.
eSIM, local SIM or roaming: which is best for Europe?
An eSIM does the job of a local SIM card, but you install it before you fly, with nothing to pick up and no need to remove your primary SIM. For Europe, plans start at £3.89, and 30 days of unlimited data costs £56.89 (£1.90 per day). With roaming, you pay whatever your network charges; with the eSIM, you know the price before you travel.
Can I top up without switching eSIMs?
On most plans, yes: you top up the same eSIM from your account or the Wavee app, with no new QR code and nothing to install. The top-up screen shows the plans that work with your eSIM.
Can I use my phone as a hotspot?
Usually yes, but it depends on the plan and the local network. If it matters for your trip, talk to us before you buy.
What if I can't use the eSIM?
You have up to 30 days to request a refund in eligible cases: a cancelled trip, an incompatible or locked phone, or an eSIM that doesn't connect. We review every request, and our support team will first try to fix the problem with you on WhatsApp or by email.
