No. Asia eSIM plans are data only. WhatsApp stays on your usual number, and you can keep your primary SIM in your phone.

With maps, messages and email, expect to use about 1 GB per week: the 2 GB plan for 15 days costs Ksh 920. With social media and video, it's more like 3 to 5 GB per week: the 10 GB plan for 15 days costs Ksh 3,260. If you'd rather not track your usage, 15 days of unlimited data costs Ksh 6,240.
eSIM, local SIM or roaming: which is best for Asia?
An eSIM does the job of a local SIM card, but you install it before you fly, with nothing to pick up and no need to remove your primary SIM. Can I use my phone as a hotspot?
Usually yes, but it depends on the plan and the local network. If it matters for your trip, talk to us before you buy.
What if I can't use the eSIM?
You have up to 30 days after purchase to request a refund. If the eSIM has not been activated yet, we refund the full amount, whatever the reason (cancelled trip, incompatible or locked phone). If it's activated but doesn't work, our support team helps you fix it; if we don't solve it within 10 days, we refund everything or the unused part.
