Chat on WhatsAppWhat is the best eSIM for Southeast Asia?
For a week in Southeast Asia with maps, messages and email, the 1 GB plan for 7 days (RSD 810) is usually enough. With social media and video, expect to use 3 to 5 GB per week: the 5 GB plan for 30 days costs RSD 3,100. For heavy use or work, unlimited plans start at RSD 1,140 for 1 day.
Which countries does the Southeast Asia eSIM cover?
In total, the plans cover 5 countries, including Thailand, China and Singapore.
Does the Southeast Asia eSIM come with a phone number?
No. Southeast Asia eSIM plans are data only. WhatsApp stays on your usual number, and you can keep your primary SIM in your phone.
How much data do I need for 15 days in Southeast Asia?
With maps, messages and email, expect to use about 1 GB per week: the 2 GB plan for 15 days costs RSD 1,290. With social media and video, it's more like 3 to 5 GB per week: the 10 GB plan for 30 days costs RSD 4,750. If you'd rather not track your usage, 15 days of unlimited data costs RSD 12,060, or RSD 24,090 for Turbo.
eSIM, local SIM or roaming: which is best for Southeast Asia?
An eSIM does the job of a local SIM card, but you install it before you fly, with nothing to pick up and no need to remove your primary SIM. For Southeast Asia, plans start at RSD 810, and 30 days of unlimited data costs RSD 23,750 (RSD 791.67 per day). With roaming, you pay whatever your carrier charges; with the eSIM, you know the price before you travel.
Can I top up without switching eSIMs?
On most plans, yes: you top up the same eSIM from your account or the Wavee app, with no new QR code and nothing to install. The top-up screen shows the plans that work with your eSIM.
Can I use my phone as a hotspot?
Usually yes, but it depends on the plan and the local network. If it matters for your trip, talk to us before you buy.
What if I can't use the eSIM?
You have up to 30 days after purchase to request a refund. If the eSIM has not been activated yet, we refund the full amount, whatever the reason (canceled trip, incompatible or locked phone). If it's activated but doesn't work, our support team helps you fix it; if we don't solve it within 10 days, we refund everything or the unused part.
