You may not know this, but Disney's Parks and Resorts account for 40% of the group's total revenue, which is around $28 billion. Furthermore, the parks division is also the company's largest source of revenue and profit.
It's no coincidence that Disney has parks all over the world, and we're going to share the complete list with you.
Most of them have attractions "borrowed" from each other; often the structure of the ride is the same, and only the theming is changed to accommodate a character or story that is more popular in that part of the world.
But each of the parks has particular characteristics that make that experience unique and familiar at the same time.
1. Disneyland Resort (California, USA)

This was the first Disney park, founded by Walt Disney, and it was an immediate and tremendous success. Today the resort has two entrances:
Disneyland : Opened in 1955, it is the original Disney park. It is divided into several themed areas, such as Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland.
Disney California Adventure: Opened in 2001, it celebrates California culture with attractions based on Pixar and Marvel films.
2. Walt Disney World Resort (Florida, USA)

Disney in Orlando is undoubtedly the most visited by Brazilians, with approximately 700,000 Brazilians visiting the resort each year.
The complex is truly gigantic, and in addition to the 4 theme parks, it also has 2 water parks and an open-air shopping mall.
A trip to Orlando is truly intense and is ideal for those who never tire of enjoying theme parks for days on end. The complex includes the following theme parks:
Magic Kingdom : The most visited theme park in the world, opened in 1971, features the famous Cinderella Castle and several classic attractions.
EPCOT : Focused on technology and culture, divided into two sections: Future World and World Showcase.
Disney's Hollywood Studios : Based on the entertainment industry, with attractions inspired by movies and TV shows.
Disney's Animal Kingdom : A theme park and zoo that combines attractions with wildlife conservation.
3. Disneyland Paris (France)

Disney's first venture on the European continent, the now-defunct EuroDisney, currently known as Disneyland Paris, had a rather turbulent start.
The project was definitely not an immediate success, and it took more than 15 years to reach financial equilibrium. French public opinion, in general, disliked the idea of such an American product, purely for entertainment, arriving in France in such an overwhelming way.
Today, the French and Europeans in general love the park and realize how positive the resort is for French tourism and the economy. Today the resort has two entrances:
Disneyland Park: Opened in 1992, it combines elements of the original Disneyland with European culture.
Walt Disney Studios Park: Focused on film and television, with attractions based on Disney and Pixar movies.
4. Tokyo Disney Resort (Japan)

Many consider it the best Disney resort in the world, especially for its attention to detail and the unparalleled service of the Japanese people.
It's worth highlighting DisneySea ; this is a truly unique park. It was designed for San Diego, California, but Disney scrapped the project. The Japanese were captivated by it and implemented it in Tokyo. It's important to note that there is no other Disney park similar to DisneySea. In Tokyo, you'll find two theme parks:
Tokyo Disneyland: Opened in 1983, it is similar to the Magic Kingdom, but with some unique attractions.
Tokyo DisneySea: Opened in 2001, it's a unique park with a maritime theme and many exciting attractions.
5. Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (China)

Hong Kong also has its own mini Disney. The park is small due to the region's geographical challenges, and many say the resort lacks a second gate to enrich the experience.
Hong Kong Disneyland Park: Opened in 2005, it is smaller than the other parks, but it has unique attractions and a charming atmosphere.
6. Shanghai Disney Resort (China)

With Chinese government involvement, Shanghai Disneyland is enormous, like everything else in China. The latest major undertaking by the Disney group, the Shanghai park is a hub for ultra-technological attractions, such as the Tron roller coaster, which was replicated at the Orlando resort.
Shanghai Disneyland Park : Opened in 2016, it features the largest version of Sleeping Beauty Castle and several innovative attractions, combining Disney magic with Chinese culture.
