How to top up my eSIM

Understand when top-ups are available and how to add more data to the same eSIM.

Atualizado em 13 de maio de 2026

A top-up (also called a recharge) adds data to the SAME eSIM: the profile stays the same, there is no new QR code and nothing to install. You do it from your account, under My eSIMs.

How to top up

  1. 01

    Open My eSIMs

Sign in to your account and pick the eSIM you are using.

  2. 02

    Choose a top-up

The screen lists the packages compatible with that eSIM, for the same destination.

  3. 03

    Pay

Once payment clears, the top-up lands on the same eSIM: right away if the current plan has already ended, or queued, activating automatically when it ends.

Not every eSIM accepts a top-up, and the list can be shorter than the store. Compatibility depends on the package your eSIM came from: when there is no compatible top-up, the way forward is buying a new eSIM.

Frequently asked questions

Does topping up extend validity?

It does not extend the current plan: a top-up is a new package with its own validity, which starts when the current plan ends (or right away, if it already has). The dates show on the eSIM detail under My eSIMs.

Can I top up before running out?

Yes, and it is the safer move: the top-up waits in the queue and starts on its own when the current plan ends. Topping up once the data is gone means being offline exactly when you need to sort it out.

Can I top up someone else's eSIM?

A top-up comes from the account that bought that eSIM. If you bought it for someone, the top-up starts from your account too.

I bought another plan and it did not land on the same eSIM

Buying a new plan creates a new eSIM, with its own QR code. A top-up is what adds data to the existing one.
