How to recharge my eSIM

Understand when recharges are available and how to add more data to the same eSIM.

Updated on May 13, 2026

Recharging adds data to the SAME eSIM: the profile stays the same, there is no new QR code and nothing to install. You do it from your account, under My eSIMs.

How to recharge

  1. 01

    Open My eSIMs

Sign in to your account and pick the eSIM you are using.

  2. 02

    Choose a recharge

The screen lists the packages compatible with that eSIM.

  3. 03

    Pay

Once payment clears, the data lands on the same eSIM and the recharge shows up in its history.

Not every eSIM accepts a recharge, and the list can be shorter than the store. Compatibility depends on the package your eSIM came from: when there is no compatible recharge, the way forward is buying a new eSIM.

Frequently asked questions

Does recharging extend validity?

It depends on the package you recharge with. Right after the purchase, check the new date on the eSIM detail under My eSIMs.

Can I recharge before running out?

Yes, and it is the safer move: recharging once the data is gone means being offline exactly when you need to sort it out.

Can I recharge someone else's eSIM?

A recharge comes from the account that bought that eSIM. If you bought it for someone, the recharge starts from your account too.

I bought another plan and it did not land on the same eSIM

Buying a new plan creates a new eSIM, with its own QR code. A recharge is what tops up the existing one.
